Vehicles and drivers

Our own fleet is regularly maintained for maximum safety and performance at authorized Mercedes Benz centers. Nevertheless, we cannot be held responsible for any unpredictable mechanical malfunctions that may happen during your service.

We can occasionally offer subcontracted vehicles of the same standards.

We reserve the right to change the vehicle or the driver at any time, if necessary.

Our vehicles and subcontracted vehicles are fully insured for passenger and third party claims. However, the property of the client is transferred entirely under his own responsibility and we will not be responsible for any loss or damage to such property.

Customers are responsible for any damage they cause to the interior or exterior of the vehicle offered to them and will be charged accordingly for any kind of repair required to bring the vehicle back to its prior condition.

A strict no-smoking policy applies in all our vehicles. Eating and drinking is also not permitted. For long-distance tours, frequent small stops are scheduled for this purpose.

We and our drivers have the right to refuse to transport any passenger under the influence of alcohol or drugs and/ or his behavior is inappropriate, abusive, and offensive or, threatens either the driver, the vehicle or any other passenger.

The driver will be accurate and travel by the most appropriate route to safe and reasonable speeds according to road conditions, traffic, other unpredictable and out-of-control circumstances (e.g. strikes, demonstrations, accidents, etc.) and legal speed limits (please note that the standard legal speed on Greek motorways is 130 Km / 80 miles per hour).

According to Greek law, professional drivers are permitted to use their hands free cell phones for work related issues. From time to time you driver may need to make and answer calls as it is part of our job.

Tour guides

Your driver will drop you off as close to the sites you are visiting as legally possible according to traffic laws of Athens. We cannot stop directly next to historic sites as it would be a traffic violation.

There are strict laws and regulations in place to protect licensed tour guides, who must work under strict time constraints. Therefore, unless your tour is guided, your driver is not allowed to tour you outside the vehicle or, anywhere near the sites. Instead, the driver is only permitted to offer limited information about sites inside the vehicle.

In case of unforeseen situations (e.g. demonstrations, strikes, extreme weather conditions, etc.) beyond our control and for which we may not be held responsible, that will prevent us from following the promised itinerary and visits of your booked tour, we will accommodate you with best  recommended alternatives.
